Retreat participants will be staying in cabins at the camp. Each cabin has 13 bunk beds with mattresses, but bedding is not provided; please bring your own! Youth will be separated by gender and will sleep on opposite sides of the camp. The shower house at Camp Cascade has numerous private shower stalls. Showers will be available in the morning and at night. Remember, it's going to be cold at night, and possibly during the day so make sure to bring warm clothes, a jacket, and close-toed shoes (see packing list below).

Retreat participants will have the option to ride on a chartered school bus provided by Cascade Transportation for an additional fee of $10. Parents may also drive up their own youth if they would like, or arrange carpools with other families. If a participant needs to arrive late or depart early from the retreat, it will be up to the parent to make transportation arrangements.

$120 per registrant. Registration fee includes all meals, snacks, lodging, supplies for activities, tee shirt, and more. Financial aid and scholarships are available upon request. Payment plans are also available. Please contact Alex Street at [email protected]

Packing List:

This retreat is taking place in the mountains in late September, so pack for both warm and cold weather! It's also possible that it may rain while we are at the retreat, so please pack a warm, waterproof jacket in case of wet weather. Here's a packing list that should help you out:

  •  What to bring with you on the retreat:
    • Pillow
    • Sleeping Bag and/or blankets
    • Flashlight or headlamp
    • Towel
    • Toiletries
    • Enough clothing for two full days
    • Sweatpants and sweatshirt and/or warm pajamas
    • Jacket (it will be chilly in the evening and at night)
    • Rain jacket (if the forecast calls for rain)
    • Close-Toed, comfortable walking/athletic shoes
    • Face Mask
    • Bible
    • Water Bottle
    • A positive attitude!
  • What NOT to bring to the retreat:
    • A bad attitude
    • Video game devices
    • Weapons of any kind (including swiss army knives/multi-tools)
    • Valuable items that could get lost or damaged (tablets, smart phones, smart watches, ipods, etc.)

A note about phones: Phones are permitted on the retreat, but we ask that they don't leave the cabin and are not used during the retreat. It is recommended that youth just leave their phone at home, but if they do decide to bring their phone it must stay in the cabin and not cause distractions during the retreat.

How can parents get involved?

First, pray for the youth attending and participating in this retreat! Second, parents are invited to come attend the retreat as chaperones if they are willing.

Registration Deadline:

Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at 11:59PM. Any registrations received after that deadline will not be guaranteed a spot at the retreat.
