Rachel’s Vineyard

Rachel’s Vineyard offers healing and spiritual support for women and men whose lives have been impacted by abortion. Our Weekend Healing Retreat provides a safe, supportive environment where retreatants may enter the grieving process, deeply experience God’s forgiveness and receive renewed hope for the future. Retreats are held annually at Nazareth Retreat Center (Boise, Idaho) as well as in most of our neighboring states. Specific dates, alternate locations and registration details are available by phone or online.
Here’s what one of our past retreatants had to say: Many years ago I made the regrettable decision to have an abortion. The guilt and shame overwhelmed me. I couldn’t forgive myself, so how could I ask God to forgive me? A friend suggested that I attend a Rachel’s Vineyard weekend. I didn’t want to. Would they make me talk about it? Would they judge me?
What I experienced was a warm, accepting atmosphere with caring people who showed me how to heal. Was it easy? NO. But they started me on a journey that has brought me healing and even joy which I had thought I didn’t deserve. I am a different person now. Before the retreat I thought I had it all under control. I didn’t realize how much it was still affecting me after all those years. After the retreat I felt as if this huge weight had been lifted off of me.
