Ongoing Activities
Apostles Garden
Through our Baptism we are called to build community with our brothers and sisters in need ~ physically, emotionally and spiritually. We seek to grow a garden in which the immediate needs of the poor and those in economic hardship can receive fresh food, where the community can gather to work side by side to share their gifts, to be co-creators in God's creation, and be fed emotionally and spiritually.
The name "Apostles" is appropriate as it is from these first Christian communities that we learn about our interconnectedness, how we are to care for one another and how we are to share our unique gifts for the common good. Looking at the trend in gardens (schools, local coops, churches), sustainable living practices, the 3 R's of reduce, reuse, and recycle and the heightened awareness of our impact on the environment for future generations, the implementation of a parish garden is a logical step, especially with the Vatican "going green".
ALL ARE WELCOME and NEEDED! Your participation is vital...a little dirt won't hurt!

Rosary Makers
A group of parishioners make and send rosaries both nationally and internationally to schools and organizations who can't afford them. They repair rosaries as well. Anyone is welcome to learn how! Drop in Thursday mornings at 9:30am in room 104 or the third Thursday evening of each month at 7:00pm in room 108. Materials are provided and can be taken home. In May and October, look for free rosaries in the entrance of the church.
